Surf’s up Açai Bowl

Acai bowl

Blend up these ingredients and get ready to ride the purple wave.

Serves one.

Ingredients

  • 200 g açai purée (2 packs)

  • 70 ml dairy free milk

  • 1/2 small banana

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 tbsp hemp powder (we love Raised Spirit)

  • 1 tsp maca powder

  • Squeeze of honey/agave syrup (for extra sweetness)

Method

  1. Run the açai packets under a tap (or soak them in a bowl of warm water) until slightly soft and you can break them up with your hands

  2. Blend everything non-açai really well first. This step is important. Very important.

  3. Add the soft pre-melted & pre-broken açai chunks to the creamy base and blend again until smooth. Add more m*lk if needed.

  4. Pour into your favourite bowl, and top it in style. Perfect for that pre/post surf boost.
