Açai & Pistachio ice cream Sundae
This show-stopping Sundae is as good as it looks, and lets be honest, it looks incredible! Why not try this for dessert, or a sunset snack on a Spring evening.
Serves 2.
Ingredients
4 x 100g packs of Grow Wild açai purée
60 - 100ml Borna unsweetened pistachio milk
1/2 banana
1 tsp maca powder
Squeeze of agave syrup (optional)
Toppings: Borna Cherry Almond butter, blueberries, flaked coconut & gojis
Method
Place 2 glasses in the freezer for half an hour & remove the açai packs from the freezer to soften slightly
Blend the pistachio milk, banana, agave syrup and maca powder into a smooth paste
Break the açai packs into chunks with your hands, cut them in half and empty the açai chunks into the blender
Blend again until an ice-cream like consistency is reached - you may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender a few times, and add more milk as needed.
Take the glasses out of the freezer, and using a spoon, drizzle the cherry almond butter on the inside of the glass
Split the açai mix into the two glasses, and top with more nut butter, fresh fruit, and coconut flakes
