Uplifting-Mojo-Maca-Açai

Fruity Acai Bowl

Maca, the Peruvian root, has known energy, endurance and mood boosting qualities (amongst other things ;) ) . Combined with our creamy, antioxidant-rich açai, and a sprinkling of cacao nibs, you are onto a breakfast winner.

Serves one.

Ingredients

  • 200 g açai purée (2 packs)

  • 100 ml oat milk

  • 1 tbsp cashews

  • 1 tbsp cacao nibs

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 tsp maca

  • Squeeze of honey/agave syrup (to sweeten if desired)

  • To garnish: Fruit, granola, nut butter…


Method

  1. Run the açai packets under a tap until slightly soft and you can break them up with your hands

  2. Blend everything non-açai well first.

  3. Add the pre-broken açai chunks to the creamy emulsion and blend again until smooth - you might need to stop and scrape down the sides with a spatula, but it’s well worth the effort.

  4. Pour into a bowl, add your toppings, and prepare yourself for a flipping great time.
