Açai Berry Sorbet

Acai powder sorbet

There’s no denying that you can’t beat an açai bowl made with frozen açai puree, but this sorbet recipe using our organic açai powder comes pretty close. It has a thick ice-creamy texture, with no dairy, no added sugar, just the natural sugars in the fruit you blend it with.

Serves one.

Ingredients

  • 150ml dairy free milk (we use oat)

  • 2 handfuls of frozen berries

  • ½ fresh or frozen banana

  • 2 tbsp organic acai powder

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 dollop cashew butter

Method

  1. Throw everything in your blender

  2. Blend until an ice cream like texture is reached. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides a few times, but trust us, it’s worth it.

  3. Scoop into a bowl and top with whatever you fancy. Fresh fruit, nuts, granola, seeds, and maybe a drizzle of peanut butter if you’re feeling wild.
